My Preaching Coach (mypreachingcoach.org) is run by Kyle Thomsen in Roseville, California. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we use what you send only to produce your sermon report and to reply to you. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

What we collect

Your name and email address, so we can send you your report or reply to your message.
Your sermon — an audio or video file, a link to a recording, or a manuscript you upload or paste.
Anything you type into the contact or testimonial forms, such as your church and a message.
Basic technical information that any web server sees, such as your IP address and browser type, used for security and to prevent abuse (for example, rate limiting).

The site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use it

To transcribe and evaluate your sermon and email you the PDF report.
To reply to messages and coaching inquiries.
To keep a simple usage log (name, email, the sermon source, scores, and processing costs) so we can run the service, fix problems, and resend a report if one fails to arrive.
To publish a testimonial only if you explicitly give permission on the testimonial form.

Services that process your information

To produce a report, your sermon is sent to trusted service providers who process it on our behalf:

OpenAI and Groq (speech-to-text transcription)
AssemblyAI (speaker detection and filler-word counting on longer recordings)
Anthropic (AI evaluation of the transcript or manuscript)
Resend (delivering report and reply emails)
Railway (hosting the website and storing finished reports)
Google (the private usage log, kept in Google Sheets)

These providers receive only what is needed to do their part.

How long we keep it

Uploaded audio and temporary files are deleted as soon as your report is finished (or within a day if a job is abandoned).
Manuscripts are never published, and the extracted text is deleted when the analysis finishes.
Finished PDF reports and the usage log are kept so a report can be resent if it goes missing. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing kylesthomsen@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
